Hello District 12 & Barrel Racers

 

Our first barrel race for the new season got of with a great start. We had 7 Pee Wee - 52 Open - 9 Youth - 1 Senior - 1 Novice

The added money for this race was $300.00.

 

We had Goegre & Deddie's catering doing the race for us and they donated all the sales to NBHA CA12 . We made $200.00 from them

 

We have our first sponsor  for this year and it's Jene Mathis she donated $100.00 to go towards the award program.

 

Would like to thank the following People for all there help: Brenda Taber & Nicole Buck for taking entries - Sharon Hoskins for announcing - Dora Clark  entrance gate    Wayne Clark for driving the tractor  - Jene Mathis  out gate    and everyone else that helped set barrels.

 

Our next race is Feb.21st at the Posse Grounds. 

 

It's time to start getting your sponsorship in for the new season.  If you have items that you would like to sell at the silent auction please bring them that money will go towars your sponsorship

 

During each race this year we will offer a new race . This race is called Director's Challenge Race. This race you will compete in barrels' single stake and poles.

 

Cost $45.00

Rider can carry there barrel time.

Carry overs need to be decided before the first run. If the rider decides after their run ( Bad Run ) For a second run additional $15.00 will be charged.

 

Placing   Two to Three Racers       1D                   1st Place Only

            Four to Nine  Racers       1D and 2D         1st Place Only

            Ten to Fourteen Racers   1D,2D and 3D     1st - 2nd - 3rd  Places

             Over 15 Races               All D's              1st - 2nd - 3rd  Places

 

Payout :    1st Place      $60.00

               2nd Place     $45.00

               3rd Place      $15.00

At minimum a year end award for 1st in each D category will be guaranted at the finals
